Kody DeMunbrun grew up in a small town in Montana. On a trip through Wyoming with her children, her car started on fire in Worland and she decided that Worland is where God intended her to be.

That was over 20 years ago.

Kody has worked for Dr. Poffenbarger for over 10 years. She helps manage his clinic and schedule the surgeries. She feels she has found the place she wants to be for the rest of her career as working for someone who cares so much about his patients is something she can stand behind and respect. Kody states “Working for Dr. Poffenbarger is a dream come true. He truly cares about his patients 24/7 and that is rare in this day and age.” She feels lucky to work with the whole team at Bighorn Medical Center as they are great people.

Kody feels that a commitment to community is everything. She loves her community in Worland. She has served as a former member of the Worland City Council. She also was a member of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks for many years.

Kody feels strongly for the Cody community as well as she spends much of her time there working.

Kody’s hobbies include raising large dogs that need a home or might have special needs. She has a close bond with Lincoln, her beloved Great Dane/Mastiff. She enjoys camping and fishing with her husband in beautiful Wyoming. She also loves to ride her dirt bike and her motorcycle.
